Kick in the Grass Tournament will take place at Tumwater High School, Pioneer Park and Capital Soccer Fields.

Note that field maps will be updated closer to the tournament (check back to see if there are any changes)

Q1: Are pets allowed at the facilities hosting the soccer tournament?

A1: Pets are not permitted at Capital Soccer Fields.  Pioneer Park permits pets on leash; however, pets should not be on the sidelines for any tournament games.

Q2: Are there any parking restrictions for the tournament?

A2: Parking at Capital Soccer Fields can be somewhat limited.  Start times have been staggered to facilitate the ebb and flow of attendees between matches and we ask that everyone please limit the length of their stay so that others have a place to park for their matches.  There are several area parks where teams could even set up a homebase and then carpool back to the soccer fields for games.  In addition, it is a great opportunity to get out and take in some shopping and sights that our community has to offer including the beautiful Tumwater Falls.

Q3: Does the home team need to provide the game balls?

A3: No. Game balls are provided by the tournament.

Q4: What age bracket should I sign up for?

A4: The age brackets have been updated and is based on elegibility for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 season. Below is the age bracket for this year's tournament.

Kick in the Grass (KITG) Soccer Tournament
The KITG tournament is hosted by the Tumwater Soccer Club. Teams from all over SW Washington and Northern Oregon have participated in KITG events.

It is the goal of the Tumwater Soccer Club for the KITG to provide an enjoyable, first class soccer experience to all its participants - players, parents, coaches, and referees. The KITG provides a first rate soccer experience in a small community atmosphere.

It is the view of the Tumwater Soccer Club that above all else, we should maintain a respect for our competition, our players, and for the game. Furthermore, we believe that exemplary sportmanship should be rewarded.
